Proofed in July 1951 , 28” barrels with .725” bores choked .012” SK2 and .035 Full with bright bores and chambers. Good soldering 95% plus blacking and a very small dent mid left tube.
Case color action , with 35% scroll engraving coverage , double triggers with good crisp pulls , manual safety , Greener third fastener. Tight on face and mechanically sound.
Custom restocked , I believe in the US , with a well figured piece of walnut . 14 ¼” LOP over a 1” pad , drop is 1 ½” x 2” cast off is 1” , because of the pronounced cast, the stock doesn’t feel as straight as the number suggests . It feels to me like a 1.5 x 2.5 x ¼ … Forend has a small ebony tip , condition of the wood and checkering is 90 % with typical hunting marks . Weight is 6 Lbs 15 Oz and balance at the hinge pin. A solid piece!
