Serial #55403: Made in 1980,  a SC3 Sporting with 30” tubes with 12 Briley chokes (that are actually better than the factory ones of that year).

Shiny bores and chambers  at .726” and 2 3/4”. Blacking is in 95+ % original condition. 

Type 4 forend.  Tight on face with plenty of reserve in the bolt .  Nice crisp trigger pulls.  Very nice game scenes  with bold Acanthus leaves.  Action and  trigger group in excellent condition. Weight is 8lbs 4 oz. with the balance at the hinge pin. LOP is 14”1/4 over a .600 factory pad. The wood shows a few dents and scratches but remains in 90% original condition. Factory case with a broken latch button but still operational.

When many of these guns have been pounded at the range, this one had a sheltered life.
