#6146. Charles Braekers 500 NE 3” Ejector .
Made in Herstal/Liege in 1926 . 26 ¾” chopper lump barrels that have been sleeved very nicely, with like new bores and chambers, ¼ rib with a single standing blade express sight. Blacking is 95% condition, the rifle weight is 10 Lbs. 10 Oz . Anson action with hidden Greener third fastener, articulated front trigger, tight on face. 85% coverage of quality roses and tight scroll engraving.
Stock LOP is 15” over a 1” Pachmayer Decelerator pad, with tear drops and shadow line cheek piece and in 90% original condition. The splinter forend checkering has been poorly recut. It has an Anson push button release and a South Gate ejector system.
Charles Braekers had a big shop in Herstal, 21 - 39 Rue du Crucifix , from 1920 to 1935 and was mainly an actions and parts maker for the gun trade in Liege .
